On September 16, 1958 Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard situations. Her mother was a teacher and failed actor, and her father was a salesman for cars. Jennifer, as the second daughter of four, often went to theater shows with her mother and was very amazed. Jennifer's parents separated when she was five. Jennifer spent most of her childhood in British Columbia after her mom moved there along with four other children. Jennifer didn't get the best education, even though she was being a talented child. Due to her experiences at Canada's public schools Jennifer came under the sway of many bullying incidents. When she was in high school, her love for theater started to diminish. In an effort to counter her loss of interest, her mother encouraged her participate as an extra in a variety of performances. Her children all were motivated by their mothers to explore a passion of art. Following that, she began to take action.
