Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actress. She has starred in many films and TV shows, such as "Christy" which is a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her performance as the main character on The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. The actress began her acting career at seven years old when her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin get a part as in the 1982 television series Father Murphy. After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed important roles on the small screen and the large screen. Martin is, in addition to being an accomplished dancer and actress, is also a skilled ballet photographer. Her sister, who died due to Lupus aged 19 inspired her to become the Lupus the national spokesperson.
